Hiking up at Boulder Lake

 This is Ethan and I just standing in the water looking around at God's Beauty.

 Every at least once a year we go hiking up in McCall. At a place called boulder lake. It is beautiful. It's honestly breath taking. During the hike you hike up to one lake. That lake is called the lower lake. Then you hike next to a water fall and stream until you get to the top. Once you get there you are blessed with this beautiful view. There is another lake on top that is called Boulder Lake. The water from Boulder Lake falls down the mountain into the lower lake. SO PRETTY. This was the first time we got to take Ethan with us. The back pack Zach is wearing was his Christmas present. Zach and Ethan loved it. It was so much fun.

 This is Boulder Lake. Isn't it breath taking. Oh how I love this place.

 The water was still not warm enough for us to swim in but Ethan wanted to play in the water. So I put on his swim suit and let him walk around in the water. Oh and this is our good Friends Chrystal and Matt Hayes. They came with us on the hike. It was so much fun having them with us.

 Heaven on earth

 I caught a tiny frog and let Ethan hold it. He was so excited to touch it. But it kept jumping around. You can kind of see it on his leg. Once he finally got it in his hands he squeezed it. The poor frog was traumatized. Zach thought it was dead but he was just scared.

 Our BEAUTIFUL family. It wouldn't be complete with out our sweet dogs, Ace and Blitz.

 I told Zach to smile. This is him trying to be funny. Ethan fell asleep on the ride down.

I love this place. I really is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. When ever we go I always wonder why we don't go more often. I had so much fun.

Fathers Day

    For Fathers Day Zach wanted to get matching ties. 

I couldn't have asked for a better Dad for Ethan. These two are buds. Ethan loves to copy anything that Zach does. It's so precious to see Ethan look up to Zach already at such a young age. He gets so excited to see his daddy when he comes home at night. Zach just love laying on the floor and letting Ethan crawl all over him and try to attack him. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. Who made one darn cute kid. I tried to do Ethan's hair like Zach's too. It turned out really cute.

 Zach surprised his Dad and got him a matching tie as well. They all look so good.

Ethan and Grandpa Roberts. Ethan is Grandpa's best pal. They adore each other so much it's adorable.  The moment Everal first held Ethan, he held him for three hours straight. Ever since then they have been best buds.

Ethan's first Dentist Appointment

He is 10 and half months in this picture. The dentist we have suggests to bring kids in around there first birthday. It's mainly to get children used to going to it becomes familiar to them and not scary. The appointment is free. We put Ethan in my lap and the dentist felt his gums and teeth. Ethan was such a good sport. He didn't cry at all. He was fascinated with the dentists gloves. Then he got his first tooth brush. He loves it. The dentist said he did very well.

I was so proud of him.

Ethan recently decided he doesn't like wearing shirts. The other day he kept trying to take them off. So I finally just let him.

He is sure one happy boy.

 So this might come as a shock to some people. But, I didn't know onions do this. I have never had one long enough, that is sprouted like this. Until the other day. Apparently it's very common if you don't use them fast enough. I sent a picture to my friend asking her if her onions have ever done this. I'm pretty sure she got a good laugh at it. But now I know.

This is Ethan trying on his Great Uncle Jim's cowboy boots.

Believe it or not this is his fake cry look. He pulls it off very well. He looks so sad but it was a total fake cry.

Ethan learned out to do touch down with his arms. It's kind of blurry. Every time we say touch down, Ethan throws his arms in the air proudly like this.

I made the mistake of one leaving the brand new package of toilet paper on the ground. I also took my eyes off of this little guy for just a second. He sure had fun though.

My Mom sent Ethan these toys. Ethan was so excited to play and have more toys.

Ducks, ties, and spaghetti

Ethan's tie came undone. So Zach was trying to tie it for me. He was having a hard time doing it. So he finally put it around a toy. 

He finally got it. But then we couldn't get it off. We eventually had to untie it. We got it tied in the end. 

We went on a walk the other day and fed the ducks some bread. Ethan enjoyed it, though I'm not sure he really understood what we were doing.

Eating spaghetti for the first time was very messy to say the least.

Hiking with Mom and Dad

We went hiking with some of our friends last weekend. It was raining when we got there. So I didn't take any pictures until the next day.

I woke up to a phone call from Zach. He called and wanted me to come out of the tent and take a picture of him on this giant rock. My phone camera wouldn't focus on his tiny body. But he is wearing black with jeans on.

I bought this backpack for Zach's Christmas present. We were so excited to finally use it. While everyone was getting ready for the hike I put Ethan in it and tried it on.I think the two of us look pretty cute in this picture.

Ethan was so excited when we started hiking. It was adorable how excited he was.

We camped next to a stream. So we started following it up into a canyon.

Ethan was so tired when we left. But he was enjoying himself so much that he stayed awake the whole hike up. But on the way he crashed.

Ethan had fun but was very happy to get into his car seat.

We stopped on the way home at our friends to drop some stuff off. We let Ethan get out of his car seat for a while. He loves pretending like he can drive.
