old pictures lost and found

Ethan discovered last night that he can see his reflection in the glass door. I couldn't get him to stop looking at himself while I was feeding him.
His bib says "My dad is my hero." I Love this bib.

I recently found this blog post that I forgot to post. Ethan is so precious.

Home made Applesauce, Pear sauce, and Apple Pie filling

 While I was visiting Emily a couple weeks ago. We made home made applesauce, pear sauce, and pie filling.

 We made several cinnamon batches. All I can say is YUM. Emily found a really good recipe.

 This is only  two batches.

In the end we made around a total of 40 quarts of applesauce, pear sauce, and apple pie filling.

 We are currently visiting my parents. This is their cat Mr. Higgins. He has become good friends with him. He also thinks the cat it a dog. Every time he see's Mr. Higgins he starts howling like he does when we ask him what a dogie says.  It's pretty cute. Plus he keeps giving the cat hugs.

Brianna's Homecomeing

 I am visiting my family in Arkansas right now. Brianna had homecoming on my birthday. I did her hair and helped her with her dress.

Visit at The Vernons

 Emily loves to make sugar cookies for what ever holiday she can.

 Last time I was here is was Valentines Day. This time it's Halloween.

 Ethan was loving all the sugar. He normally doesn't get very much sugar.

 Emily and Aaron made homemade cinnamon rolls. They were so YUMMY.

 She made a whole pan. We got to eat them for days.

 Every time I go to eastern Idaho. I try to visit my Great Grandma and Grandpa Thompson's Grave. 

 Some of my favorite people in the whole world

 This is our Aunt Christie's Grave. She died as an infant and was buried in Salt Lake City at the time. Then in 1996 they moved the grave up to Idaho Falls so she could be by family. My Great Grandpa was also buried there at the time. I remember it was cold out and there was a nice fresh blanket of snow on the ground. I believe I was 6 and Emily was 4 years old. Right before they covered the casket with dirt Emily and I layed down our favorite blanket. We were both worried that she was cold. Every since that experience we have always felt closer to her.

As you can see we took lots of pictures. My Dad lives in Arkansas and loves to get these pictures. So sometimes we get a little carried away. 

Ethan's First Birthday

 He got this dump truck  from his Great Grandma and Grandpa Roberts

 He is so precious. He has a stuffed monkey that he loves. So we gave him a monkey themed birthday party.

 I made his cake. It is a homemade banana Oreo icecream cake. Then I made the monkey head out of brownies and the ears out of cookies that I covered in chocolate. It was so yummy.

 Ethan and every one loved it.

After he ate the cake he got so messy we just stripped off his cloths and let him play with his toys in his diaper.
