Hiking with Mom and Dad

We went hiking with some of our friends last weekend. It was raining when we got there. So I didn't take any pictures until the next day.

I woke up to a phone call from Zach. He called and wanted me to come out of the tent and take a picture of him on this giant rock. My phone camera wouldn't focus on his tiny body. But he is wearing black with jeans on.

I bought this backpack for Zach's Christmas present. We were so excited to finally use it. While everyone was getting ready for the hike I put Ethan in it and tried it on.I think the two of us look pretty cute in this picture.

Ethan was so excited when we started hiking. It was adorable how excited he was.

We camped next to a stream. So we started following it up into a canyon.

Ethan was so tired when we left. But he was enjoying himself so much that he stayed awake the whole hike up. But on the way he crashed.

Ethan had fun but was very happy to get into his car seat.

We stopped on the way home at our friends to drop some stuff off. We let Ethan get out of his car seat for a while. He loves pretending like he can drive.

Ethan tipped over his GG's walker and loved playing with it. It was the best toy in the house to him.

While I was talking to someone on the phone. Ethan wanted me to hold him. I didn't even realize that he had fallen asleep until I got off the phone.

Uncle Tyrel was teaching Ethan how to play the piano.

He felt like he was helping me by eating the tools. So sweet.

It's a vent. Who knew a vent could be so exciting to play with.

You can't see it very well. But my parents gave me these animals to put on Ethan's dresser. So I took off the old ones and put on these one's. I think they are so cute.

My Mom bought this sports light switch cover. I think it's adorable.

Ethan loves loves loves his Daddy. I absolutely love this picture. It shows how small Ethan is next to Zach. Just before I took this picture Ethan was staring up at Zach. But by the time I got my camera he looked away. I sure love these two boys. I call them my Boys because I feel like I am taking care of both of them.

Waiting in the airport to leave

This is how I pulled Ethan once we put away the stroller. The flight attendants and everyone else thought it was so cute. The flight attendant asked for my camera so she could take a picture for me. Ethan loved riding on my carry on like this.

We were lucky enough to have a middle seat empty for both flights. So I buckled Ethan in a seat belt if he wasn't on my lap.  

This is when he finally fell asleep on the flight. Holding his monkey that Grandam gave him.

Once he was a sleep I wrapped him in his favorite blanket and buckled him next to me.

Zach picked us up from the airport. We were both very glad to see him. When we made it back to car these were waiting for me. Along with 3 boxes of girl scout cookies.

Ethan got to eat chocolate on our way home from the airport. He loved it

After a long day of traveling. Ethan was very happy to sleep in his own bed.

Feeling better

It has been 9 days since Ethan was diagnosed with RSV. I am proud to say he is feeling much better. He still has a cough. But he is so much happier. He is back to playing on the floor with toys. He has been smiling and giggling again. Its been wonderful.
